Undergraduate Numeracy Assessment

The Undergraduate Numeracy Assessment (UNA) is a self-assessment tool designed at the University of Otago.

  • There are 20 questions and it will take you approximately 20–30 minutes.
  • You must finish within 2 hours otherwise the assessment will close and you will not receive an accurate valuation.
  • Work through the questions in sequence — you cannot backtrack to a previous question.
  • You can have one attempt only at the assessment.  However, if you lose access you can re-start and continue where you left off.

Can you help us?

We are asking for your consent to use your results for our research and ask you to please consider the information in the box below. If you agree then select the “I agree” option, before you continue to the assessment.

If you do not agree to this, please select the “I do not agree” option before you continue to the assessment. There will be no disadvantage to you and we thank you for considering our request — note that you still need to complete the test but your result will be excluded from our research.
